Girl Heroes for Graduation Giveaway!

I really enjoy having giveaways when I hit milestones, and I have a ton coming up. I'm graduating and moving to New York this month so I'm really entering a new era! As such, I thought I'd run a little giveaway of some goodies that center around cartoon heroines. Because girl heroines are some of my favorite things!!

I'm giving away 6 Disney Princess notebooks, each 5"x7",  with glitter accents on the cover. I'm giving away Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Snow White! These notebooks are great gifts, and they are also a good size for purses at 64 pages apiece.

I'm also giving away a copy of the graphic novel In Real Life by Cory Doctorow and Jen Wang, which looks at the intersection of gaming and the real world where economies and justice aren't always fair. It's all about a girl finding her way into an online girl-gamer community, and the complications it introduced into her life by connecting her with another gamer living in a very different economy on the other side of the world. It's a great read and the art is really lovely.

One winner will get all of the above! If a winner does not respond in 2 days, I'll pick a new one.

Open to US only. Contest runs til May 16 (the day I graduate!).

  1. Aaaahhh the notebooks are so cute!

  2. Awww...I'm sad, but I understand.

  3. OMG I cannot tell you how hard of a year it has been. My dearly beloved grandmother who my mother and I have always been super close passed recently. My grandmother may not have been my mother; however, she was like a second mother to me. I love her so much and she loved me so much and I grew up with her and saw her like every day. She was my best friend, someone so near and dear to my heart, and I cannot believe she is gone and I will never see her again. Her death did bring me and my mom who has always been and always will be my bestest friend (the word we use) even closer together. I love them both so much. My mom is such an amazing person with the very best heart and my grandmother's death left us both shocked and devastated and it has been such a rough year and we could both use some cheering up, especially my amazing mother who has been so strong and sacrificed so much. She is my greatest supporter and the hardest worker I know. She never gets a thank you and continues to make sacrifices for me every single day. She cooks for me even when she is sick and quit her job that she worked so hard to get so she could raise me on her own. She was so strong when she was pregnant with me even though her dad died at the beginning of her pregnancy and she loved that man more than anyone, I can tell by the way she tears up whenever his name is brought up. My mom is super fashionable and stylish and where I get my love of fashion from ❤️ All of my friends think my mom is the nest and want her to be their mom too. My mom deserves every gift in the world and I know that she says my love is the greatest gift for her, but a little materialistic luxury to bring a smile to her beautiful face would be so nice! Especially this Mothers Day. My grandmother's death left her both very shocked and devastated and it has been such a rough year and she could really use some cheering up. Thank you so much!!! Thank you so much!!! Thank you so much again this is so kind and incredible and amazing and generous of you!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

  4. Oh my gosh, thank you for sharing. I wish the best for you and your mother.

  5. I know right! They are so precious :)
